Mission Statement:
The Federation of Writers (Scotland) is an organisation
dedicated to making the written and spoken word available to the
public of Scotland, through innovative projects, respect for diversity
and recognition of special needs. It is a group which hopes to
set the heather on fire and then record, in exquisite detail,
the glory of the sight.
 It
seeks to:

Bring writers together to
meet and discuss their writing.

Mount exciting performance
opportunities.

Issue a regular writers newsletter
-
Support existing writers groups
and encourage the formation of new groups.

Work with agencies to ensure
writers get the chance to be involved in events and festivals.

Provide publishing opportunities

Campaign for a fair deal for
writers.
